Good breakfast place. Solid local small resturant. Most of the time good service. Weekends there is usually a short wait. They will take orders for flagels in advance or catering and it's always good kosher style food.

Overpriced, mediocre food. The bagels were mushy and rubbery. The mediocre chicken salad is close to $20/lb.... $7.00 for a bacon and egg sandwich? . If you're going to charge those prices, it had better be really good. But it wasn't.

This place has the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I live across the street and have tried to give this place a fair shot but it's just not possible. The staff is always rude. Called in to place a order and was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes and no one ever picked up. The man behind the counter is always complaining and my order was incorrect 2 of the 3 times I ordered from here. I'd rather starve then order from this place again!!!

This place is a solid choice for breakfast. They have decent bagels, excellent orange juice, decent coffee, and decent breakfasts. They also have a drive thru during the week, which is a big convenience. My favorite item on the menu is the #3 breakfast wrap. It's bacon, eggs and cheese contained in a challah wrap. Very yummy, although I wish it came with something, especially for the price. Honestly, most of the reason people come here is just because they live close by, and most of the locals' friends come here as well, so you always run into someone. Overall, not bad.

This place is a horible excuse for a bagel store /deli. The food is bad and it is a total rip off. They wanted to charge me 13.50 for a plain bagel with a few slices of turkey on it. They have terible manners and zero customer service. I asked for no side, all my son wanted was a simple turkey on a bagel. The bagel alone cost 95. Cents so why is a bagel with turkey 13.50?the man worker basically told me that's the price whether or not I want a side. So rude and disgusting attitude. Do not go to Mitch's westside bagels. Let me also say the bacon on my sons egg sandwich was so over cooked it has no flavor and was mostly fat. I think this place stays in business soley because if its location and its such a busy shopping center. The rudeness of the staff and management is the worst I have ever experienced from any restaurant. If you want to pay 22.00 for two egg bacon and cheese and an oatmeal and 13.50 for a turkey on a bagel, then this is the place for you. If you like subpar food and terible bacon, rude staff then go eat at westside bagels.

We have been frequenting this place for a long time now and there is no place else that I want to start my Sunday morning in Parkland. The bagels are great. The salmon salad is my wife's favorite. And I am a sucker for an egg and bagel sandwich with ham...and don't forget to get hash browns extra crispy so you can add that to the sandwich too. Mitch, who is a local celebrity, is sometimes there to greet you when you come. With five locations now, he has got to be busy traveling to all of them. Stop in and have smear. You will not be disappointed.

Staff is rude, food stinks and WAY over priced. I paid almost 10 dollars for a breakfast sandwich which consisted of an egg, and one tiny piece of bacon. Don;t try their lox either, VERY fishy.

I'm a regular here and I have to say the food is great. My kids love the French toast and the omelets are delish. The servers know us by name and always make us feel welcomed. Dawn and Alina are the best!

Food is good. Service sometimes spotty. if they're busy would give a miss; food presentation leaves a lot to be desired. If u go request Dawn for the server.

First time here and will definitely be back. My husband ordered the club favorite and it was incredible. Service was fast and excellent. Very friendly server named Dawn Marie. Al for her by name you will be very pleased with her personality and level of professionalism. Great food!!

Almost $10 for an egg sandwich with hardly any bacon and an iced coffee? I don't pay that much in new york city. The one star is because the iced coffee was decent.

Before work or class I stop by to get a bagel from them mostly because its the closest bagel place close to my house besides dunkin donuts. Bagels are pretty good and their dine in area is pretty big so you dont feel cramped. The cons of this place though is that some of their staff arent pleasant people you would want to get a bagel from and that they use margarine instead of butter which personally is a big downfall i would much rather go an extra 10 minutes to get a decent bagel with actual butter then oily margarine.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Ate breakfast at Westside twice while on vacation. Unfortunately did not get to take advantage of the lunch menu. Loved the egg everything bagel and the home fries.

Pretty solid meal, but not sure it's worth paying $6 for a Bacon-Egg-Cheese sandwich, or $3 for an OJ.

Updating my review to add a star. While a bit pricey compared to other delis in the area, the food is good and not greasy. The service is pretty quick on weekends but on weekdays it can sometimes be a bit slow. I think speeding up the service for sit down and to go orders on weekdays would be really great and I would come here during the week more often.

As a close-by Parkland resident, I can attest to the fact that this place has really gone downhill over the years. The owners really need to give some renewed attention to detail, their choice of staff, and location management. A shame considering the quality of the bagels themselves is great, even a favorite in my home, and the fact that this used to be a well-liked and buzzing place to sit down to breakfast on the weekends. As other reviews have stated, food quality has declined, service tends to be inconsiderate and slow, and things just don't seem very clean and organized anymore.

This place employs the biggest bunch of a-holes ever. To take your order is an incredible privilege and their bagels are solid gold so do not forget to show up and beg and grovel to order something. Every time I come here they act as if they don't want my business or anyone else's. Today I just drove off because I couldn't deal with the rudeness of the man being so nasty to me at the window. I apologize Westside bagels for showing up and wanting to give you my money. No worries as it will never happen again. Your poor reviews are well-deserved. Whatever happened to a little kindness or gratitude?

I have been here a few times and we always have a good experience. Food it ok. Nothing special but if you are looking for some where near by to have breakfast then this is the place to go. There are two sections here. The seating area and the deli area. We have never had a problem with service. We are immediately seated and they give you corn muffins to munch on until your order is placed. I have tried the omelet here once and not a big fan. So this time I decided to stick with egg whites, home fries (don't like the onions in it), bacon and a bagel. My favorite would have to be the bagel with cream cheese. It is warm, soft and a bit toasty. The orange juice is great. One things that annoys me about this place are the flies that you can't seem to get rid of. Maybe you can find away to keep them out. Other than that. Service is good and food is ok.

Who needs Dunkin when you can go to westside bagels. Fast and friendly accurate order. Definitely would recommend to who eva likes authentic bagels not baked and shipped all ova the US.

The guy with the pony tail is lazy and unprofessional. He didn't want to cook eggs for a bagel I heard him bitching about it right in front of me. I would get fired at my job if I ever did that. The food is average btw

West side bagels is better than the typical chain breakfast restaurants. The bagels and cream cheese are soo fresh and Dawn Marie gives awesome service!!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Monday 9 AM. There was only one other customer that had finished eating so I ordered corn beef hash, eggs, grits and a bagel. The coffee was extremely weak and the kitchen took 20 minutes to heat up canned corn beef hash and cook two eggs over medium. The hash was hot and the eggs done correctly, the bagel toasted and fresh and the grits OK. There were more customers coming in while I sat and one lady and her son came in 5 minutes after me and got their omelets 5 minutes before my food arrived. The can opener must have been broken to open the corned beef hash. If they improve their coffee to match the bagels it would be a vast improvement!

Service was horrible and the food was not so good either. Place was empty and still waited 5 minutes for a menu while waitresses sat at a nearby table talking. The waitress almost poked my eye out with the menu and then laughed. People that came in after my food was ordered got served before me, in fact their food was brought to my table, not once but twice. I'm extremely disappointed and won't be going back any time soon even though they gave me a $20 gift card. The bad experience I had will not be erased by $20 bucks. If you want have a good moment with your family over a meal, this is not the place.

Worst bagel place in Broward!!!! Bagels are spongy , lox smelled bad didn't eat it. The service is non existent. The owner, who is an arrogant SOB, has a bunch of retired housewives waitressing, who can't keep up. We waited 15 minutes to be seated when there were plenty of empty tables. We waited another 20 minutes for our waitress with her greasy stringy hair to take our order. We waited another 49 minutes for our food to come and my order was wrong and I had to wait another 12 minutes to eat. We had to keep begging for coffee and water. No syrup served with our pancake order. The potato pancakes were so greasy and disgusting we took one bite and spit it out. If you want a real New York bagel go to Whole Lot of Bagels on sample road . Excellent food and service!!!

Living in Heron Bay I had the urge for an egg and cheese sandwich and went to Westside Bagels. Not much good to say about this place. The sandwich was WAY overpriced at over five dollars for one egg on a roll with literally one slice of cheese. Employees/servers were all miserable, and the place didn't necessarily look all that clean. Better off going to Publix.

Westside Deli is a tradition reliable jewish deli. Specializing in the breakfast arena with eggs, home fries, bagels, pancakes etc. I don't know why they are getting so much heat on the reviews! My personal favorite is their tuna salad. You can get low fat or regular and few other varieties that vary depending on how they feel. I get it served as a platter which comes with 2 sides (cucumber salad, fries, tomato salad...) and a bagel or toast. Its the best way for me because I love hands on action and making my own sandwich. It's a hotspot for Parkland families and has a nice, fun cliental on the weekends. It really is everything you could want from a bagel deli! **TRY A FLAGEL : A bagel ironed thin so there is no doughy part and lots and lots of toppings (everything, sesame, salt) The flatness holds onto it all - sorry gravity!

So far best bagels we have found in SE Florida - as close to NY/Long Island style bagel restaurant as we can get down here. Nice cream cheese selection, good sandwiches, matzoh ball soup, kosher style deli sandwiches with pickles, cucumber salad etc.

This used to be the best bagel place in Coral Springs. The last few times I've gone in though I've been really disappointed. The service was slow, the food was not that great and nothing came out the way we ordered it. I know that things aren't always as they should be and nothing is perfect all the time, but the 3 times in a row the food and service were really disappointing. The bagels are good if you just want to buy some to take home. Wouldn't suggest eating in though.. A little pricey and not worth it. The first store they had on Wiles Road was great.. That was years ago.. Once they started opening new locations everything seemed to go bad..

There are a lot of bad reviews here, but they kind of sound made up compared to my experience. The staff was super friendly. I just got a bagel and veggie cream cheese, but it was the best veggie cream cheese ever and my iced coffee was huge! I think these over the top bad reviews might be from 1 or two disgruntled employees or something. It was great!

Food is way overpriced, takes a long time to receive and 3/4 meals was missing something and the worst part is there are flies everywhere and landing on the food and you. Gross. Never again.

Westside bagels used to be in Boca and I remember it being better. The NJ sloppy joe was indeed sloppy. The bread wasn't very good and too thin. (Too thin ever for a NJ sloppy joe). The regular sandwich was just fair. The meat was fatty and the cold slaw was weak and unevenly distributed. Rye bread lacked rye flavor. The egg cream was heavy on the seltzer, light on flavor and full of ice. When we came the place was ridiculously packed trying to seat 4 large parties (16, 8, 8, 8). They were confused and the whole thing was a hot mess. Then they kept trying to accommodate everyone and it became a really poor experience. Eh. If you're in the area, sure -- give it a go but don't go out of your way to get there.

Wow! Just left and here's my updates review. I returned the Matza ball soup. It was cold and slight sour taste. I ordered a Greek salad snd it was ok. My buddy had a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were cold. The worst part......flies EVERYWHERE! These were those fruit flies that you see hanging around vegetable and fruits sometimes. Horrible. Anyways....once again...the only bagel shop in parkland. So sad...

It has gotten worse. I've been back a few more times since my review. Same three girls serving every time. They are slow and uninterested... and the food is still just okay. I think I'll find somewhere else to get my Deli fix from now on.

I really like the food here but the service is lacking and the servers are dirty looking. We were sat across from the waitress station over the weekend and I was completely grossed out. I sat and watched as they brought dirty plates to the dish bucket then grabbed a bagel sliced it and threw it in the toaster. come on!!! Discusting. They touch money wet rags dirty dishes then your bagel. Sorry won't be back!!!

Thank God the food is good bc the employees are horrendous. Rude and treat you as an inconvenience. We aren't in NY so just take a chill pill and smile a little bit. Or find a new job if you're so miserable. Great food though or else the place would be out of business.

Preface: I liked the Westside in Boca before it changed to Bruces. Also this restaurant was slammed just before we arrived. So here it goes: When we sat there was "water" on the middle of the table. After 10 minutes our waitress showed up and we asked to have the table cleaned. She left and "Told someone". We had to asked someone else for table to be cleaned and right away someone came. 5-10 min later our waitress returned. Took our order with some confusion. Our food came and the fruit bowl took the longest. The white toast was rye and my waffle... The one thing I wanted for breakfast was slightly undercooked. We didn't get God coffee refill service. Check was brought without being asked. Lots of wait staff hollering and complaining about other staff. I expected so much more. Our waitress. Was Alpina and it was 12-1p on Sunday.
